I've been in charge of Managing Director of sinsai.info, Japan deployment of Ushahidi platform aimed to collect disaster information of Japan earthquake in 2011, as a member of OpenStreetMap Foundation Japan.

It started just after four hours from the earthquake and collected more than 10,000 reports during two months.

Sinsai.info is deployed and operated by more than 200 volunteer developers and moderators. I just acted a part of organising them.

Currently Sinsai.info is running as 'archive mode'. But you can see all of the reports from http://sinsai.info/
